Synopsis :
2008년 금융위기로 여인숙 운영이 어려워지자 이를 팔기로 마음먹은 전일민（钱一民）. 빈둥빈둥 놀던 주용（周龙）이 우연히 강호인인 류즈 (六子）로부터 철거를 도와서 돈을 벌었다는 소식을 들었는데, 주용은 욕심이 생겨 전일민을 찾아가서 여인숙을 매수하려고 한다. 하지만 류즈는 사실 전화 사기범으로, 어떤 관원로부터 받은 복권을 현금으로 바꿀 수 없게 되자 주용을 찾아가 철거에 관한 정보를 제공한 것에 대한 대가로 주용에게 복권을 대신 바꿔 달라고 부탁하고자 하였다. 이때 주택구입 거래가 성사된 주용은 집을 살 돈이 없어 궁지에 몰리자 자신의 매형 왕망(王莽)을 찾았고, 여러 해 동안 뜻을 이루지 못하고 있던 일선의 사복경찰인 왕망은 마침 류즈 사건의 담당이었다. 각각의 마음을 품은 네 사람이 각자 명예와 이익을 좇는 이상한 상황이 펼쳐지는데…
Due to the 2008 financial crisis and poor management, Qian Yimin wants to sell his small inn. Having learned by chance that Liu Zi has earned some money by helping with the demolition, Zhou Long, an idle and greedy man, goes to see Qian Yimin and tries to buy the inn. However, Liu Zi is actually a phone swindler: he’s received a winning lottery ticket from a government official but can’t cash it due to his illegal status. So he tries to ask Zhou Long’s help in withdrawing the money in return for the information about the demolition. At this point, Zhou Long successfully negotiates the purchase of the inn with Qian Yimin but gets his back to the corner because he lacks the finance. So he finds his brother-in-law, Wang Ming, who is a frontline fly cop, for help. As it turns out, Wang Ming is in charge of the case of Liu Zi. So a strange situation unfolds among the four men each going after their own follows among the four men each going after fame and fortune…
