‘판문점에어컨’은 이념의 열기와 역사의 아픔이 공존하는 판문점에서 고장난 에어컨을 고치는 수리기사를 통해 우리의 현재 모습들을 비유하고, 총이 아닌 웃음. 열기가 아닌 시원한 바람을 그리는 영화입니다.

이 영화를 통해 세대 간 벌어진 남북에 대한 생각과 관심을 하나로 연결시키고, 너와 나를 가르지 않는 ‘우리’, 함께 웃음 짓던 그때 그 시절을 돌이키게 만들고 싶습니다.

Air conditioner in Panmunjeom is a film that pictures not only "cool breeze" but laughing instead of gunshots or hot heat. The story realistically happens through the AC repairman at the place where the heat of ideology and the pain of history exist together.

In this film, I've wanted to connect thoughts and interests in North-South relations among generations and turn those days back when we laughed together, representing the united us.
